This is the alphabet! I will eventually make a script or two for it, which I'm looking forward to, but I'm also making it typable. I put in the sounds I like, left out the ones I didn't, and shifted some letters around to cover them. There are 27 letters, 3 times 3 times 3. When I make the script I'll use that to group them, and probably rearrange the order.
k t d b p v j c x s z q n m l h y w a o i u e ei ai au oi
Spelled out, the letters are:
ki ti di bi pi vi ji ci xi si zi qi ni mi li
ha ya wa a o i u e ei ai au oi
Fifteen consonants, three halfvowels (just because I'm not using H at the end of a syllable, I'm lumping it in with Y and W), and nine vowels.
Most of the consonants make their English sounds, except:
j is the zh sound of vision
c sounds like ch
x sounds like sh
q is the ng sound of ring
I kind of want a g in there, but I kind of don't too, and it would mess up the whole nice thing going with threes, so I'm calling it close-enough covered by k and q. H doesn't show up at the end of syllables, and q isn't at the beginning except in its own name.
For the vowels:
a is ah, basic Spanish/French/Esperanto a
o is o, basic S/F/E o
i is ee, basic S/F/E i
u is oo, basic S/F/E u
e is e of bet, eh like in Esperanto
ei is ay of day
ai is i of kite
au is ow of now
oi is oi of point
And that's the alphabet for this yet-unnamed conlang. I will probably name it when something cool-sounding pops into my head. In the meantime... look, I made a thing! Duet, heicaia av!
